About Jemma

Born in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales, Jemma began her music journey at the age of 5. At this time, she enjoyed music through dancing, and studied the styles of Jazz, and the Royal Academy of Ballet, and completed her Advanced One exam.

It was not until her High School education when she decided to think of music as a career. In 2020 she played the Principal role of Scaramouche in her High Schools musical, ‘We Will Rock You’.

After graduating, Jemma took her guitar and singing skills to higher education at Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Surry Hills, Sydney. During University, she developed her own voice and found a new love for music through her education.

Alongside her mentor, in May of 2023 she performed her Graduation Recital. In the future, Jemma is looking forward to the opportunities that will come, and to support and inspire others through the language of music.
